Do I have to be a yoga practitioner or singer to participate in Yoga For The Singer classes?
No! Yoga For The Singer classes are for anyone interested in exploring the connections between yoga and the voice.
Are all Yoga For The Singer classes the same?
No! All classes will have different yoga flows, class themes, and breathing & singing exercises while always making the connections between the breath, body, and voice. This is to ensure that both first-time students and regular students always have a unique and fresh experience.
How much/what do we sing in classes?
A brief portion of class will include singing exercises. For example, maintaining notes in harmony as a class to work on breath support. If you’d rather listen and not sing, no worries! You’ll be given alternative options to participate in those exercises.
How do virtual classes work?
You can sign up for a virtual class here. We will email you a Zoom link for the class 15 minutes before the start time. More detailed information on this process will be in your confirmation from us. Feel free to keep your camera on or off during the class. We just want you to be comfortable in your space and have fun!
What type of yoga is practiced in Yoga For The Singer classes?
We practice a variety of Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga. Our flows are accessible to students of all levels of yoga. Stay tuned for the launch of “Pop Power Flow” and “Vinyasa For The Voice” - classes for students of intermediate and advanced yoga levels.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
A full refund will be given if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance.
